A naked woman was arrested on suspicion of attacking an 80-year-old Pasadena man with a coffee cup in his home reports the San Gabriel Valley Tribune. According to police, the incident happened on Sunday night, March 6.

Pasadena police Lt. Sean Dawkins said firefighters treated the man for cuts to his face and knuckles, but the man wasn't taken to the hospital. Police initially arrived at Lake Avenue and Washington Boulevard in response to a report of a naked woman lying on the street at 5:37 P.M. But when officers arrived, she was no longer there.

The suspect had reportedly jumped into the victim's backyard in the 1400 block of North Mentor Avenue. The resident heard the noise and opened the door. That's when the woman rushed inside wearing only a t-shirt and headed for the bathroom.

A few minutes later, she emerged from the bathroom naked and grabbed a coffee cup, and assaulted the resident. "He fended her off with his cane and got her out of the home," said Dawkins.

Officers finally found the 36-year-old suspect in another backyard on North Mentor Ave and arrested her on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. The SGVT reported the woman was being held at Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood as of Monday afternoon, March 7.
