Thomas Rhett Wins ACM Award for Video of the Year

Thomas Rhett is an early 2020 ACM Awards winner!

The country star's emotional "Remember You Young" music video has been named Video of the Year at this year's show. The touching clip, produced by Dan Atchison and directed by TK McKamy, debuted in September of 2019.

Rhett's "Remember You Young" video was up against clips from Dan + Shay and Justin Bieber's "10,000 Hours," Blake Shelton's "God's Country," Old Dominion's "One Man Band" and Little Big Town's "Sugar Coat." This marks Rhett's sixth ACM Awards win of his career.

"'Remember You Young' - @acmawards music video of the year. What a start to the week. This one is special. So much love went in to telling this story for y’all," Rhett said on Instagram following the win. "Huge thanks to @tkmckamy for the vision and execution. Did it man. #ACMawards"

This Wednesday (September 16), during the ACM Awards, Rhett will perform his hit "Beer Can't Fix" with Jon Pardi. The two will take the stage at the Ryman Auditorium alongside Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Riley Green, Maren Morris, Tenille Townes and Old Dominion. A number of other artists will also be performing during the broadcast from the Grand Ole Opry House and The Bluebird Cafe.

Performers taking the Opry stage include Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton featuring Gwen Stefani, Carrie Underwood, Trisha Yearwood, Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Mickey Guyton and Morgan Wallen. Jimmie Allen, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert featuring songwriters Natalie Hemby and Luke Dick, and Tim McGraw will perform at The Bluebird.
