Aaron Cater Accused Of Flipping Rescue Dogs For Money- He Responds

Lancaster Animal Shelter in Los Angeles County says they are looking into claims that former teen pop-star, Aaron Carter adopted one of their animals so that he could later sell it for profit.

Carter received immense backlash after posting an Instagram video saying an English Bulldog he had recently adopted from the pound would be available for purchase because he "couldn't keep him". In the video he says he would be selling the pup for $3,500.

"This is my new buddy. So by the way, if I can't keep him, I am going to be listing him." Carter says in the video. "So if anybody wants to have my English bulldog, he's being sold for $3,500.."

Aaron jumped to his own defense in a series of strongly worded tweets Sunday afternoon (August 4).

The animal shelter where Aaron adopted the bulldog says that they are "working on this situation".
