Walk To End Alzhemier's

iHeartMedia Sacramento welcomes the Walk To End Alzheimers coming Saturday, September 29th to the State Capitol! The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs.  In 2017, more than 61,000 teams participated in more than 600 Walks across the country, raising more than $87 million.

Join the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s in the fight against the disease. Together, we can raise awareness and funds to enhance Alzheimer’s care and support and advance critical research. Walk to End Alzheimer’s participants will learn about Alzheimer’s disease and the Association, including advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment and programs and services.  Walk participants will also honor those affected by Alzheimer’s disease with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony.

The 2018 Walk will take place on September 29, 2018 at Raley Field in West Sacramento beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the stage program at 8:30 a.m.  The Walk route, festivities, remembrance area and more provide a fun, hopeful and inspiring experience for all those in attendance.  Plus you get to run the basses right before you cross the finish line.
