Louisiana Sue Mardi Gras Carnaval Is Coming To Old Sacramento February 18th - 19th

Experience a taste of Mardi Gras that is coming to the River City February 18th and 19th!

For 2023, there will be a full weekend of Parades, Food, Drinks, Live Music & More to celebrate Mardi Gras in Sacramento.

Saturday February 18th the party will kick off at the Freeway Gardens at 2001 I Street in the parking garage under the Freeway or entrance at 2nd and J St. A full day of live music, specialty foods & drinks, plus local vendors. With over 6000 people attending on Saturday from Noon – 11PM. A Full day of Mardi Gras parade starting at the capital and ending at the Mardi Gras Carnaval Festival in Old Sacramento Waterfront.

On Sunday, February 19th, Second Line Sunday will take place on the Embarcadero in Old Sacramento Waterfront. A full day of local brass bands organized by BTU Arts and you the community participating in the Second Line Sunday. Bring your family as we’ll have a full area set for kids and family entertainment. Stages for music with local Live bands & DJ’s. Arts & Craft Vendors and Specialty Food Vendors through out the Embarcadero.
