Woman Shot In Neck During I-5 Road Rage Incident

A road range incident left one woman hospitalized after she was shot in the neck early Sunday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, two women were traveling south on I-5 around 2 a.m. and got into a yelling match with four men in a white sedan.

One of the passengers in the backseat of the four-door sedan allegedly had a gun and fired at the vehicle the women were in just north of Hood Franklin Road. 

A bullet hit one of the women in the neck. 

The men fled and the victims made their way to Twin Cities Road where they received help.

The woman who was shot is being treated at UC Davis Medical Center.

The altercation is being treated as an attempted homicide by investigators.

Police are searching for the men, but no information about their identities has been released.
