Bobby Bones Joins American Idol

Bobby Bones is widely recognized for the nationally syndicated country radio show 'Bobby Bones Show" reaching millions of listeners on 100+ stations. He was recently voted for induction into the National Radio Hall Of Fame as the youngest inductee ever, Bobby Bones has been dubbed "the most powerful man in country music" (Forbes)

Now Bobby Bones is making another huge career move. Bones is joining the American Idol team this season, working directly with the Top 24 contestants to share his expertise and advice on all areas of being an artist -- covering stage presence, dealing with media, posting on social media, remaining focused and being authentic and original. 

Bobby shared on his radio show this morning his feelings on the new role: 

"It's very exciting for me. I'm nervous that I'm not going to give good advice. I can't say a lot about what i'm doing but i'll be working with the Top 24 contestants." 

American Idol premieres Sunday, March 11 8/7c on ABC with Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan as the judges.
