By now, maybe you've heard that Joe Don Rooney crashed into a tree and was arrested for DUI around 4:00 A.M. Thursday morning. He wasn't injured. Here are a few details you may not have heard about.
He was driving on Hillsboro Road, about 20 miles south of Nashville when he rammed into a line of trees. (Joe Don lives in Nashville.)
A Sheriff's Deputy arrived and hauled him off to the Williamson County Jail where he was booked on a DUI charge at 7:20 A.M. He posted a $2,500 bond and was released a few hours later, at 10:17 A.M.
At this point Rascal Flatts' public relations reps aren't saying much. Same with Joe Don's people.
