Yelp To Add Donation Button To Help Local Restaurants!!

The Coronavirus outbreak has been tough on all of us, but some businesses have been hit especially hard. Restaurants across the U.S. have been forced to close or limit their business, and even the ones who have shifted to serve their customers with deliveries and take-out are still struggling to survive.

Well, Yelp has heard the pleas from restaurants and other businesses and has teamed up with GoFundMe to connect them with customers who want to help. Yelp has started adding donation buttons to eligible business accounts and clicking the button directs you to the GoFundMe page where you can support them.

Currently, the buttons are rolling out in Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and San Diego and will be added nationwide starting in a few days. To make things even better, Yelp and GoFundMe have pledged to match up to $1-million in donations and other companies are expected to jump in soon to help too.
