It's Miracle Treat Day at DQ for Children's Miracle Network!

posted by Amanda McGraw -

My weather app says a high of 94 today in Sacramento! Not as hot as some other days, but certainly hot enough for you to deserve a chill treat! Today is Dairy Queen's Miracle Treat Day. All over the country, participating DQs near a Children's Miracle Network Hospital will donate $1 (or $2, depending on the location) from EVERY BLIZZARD SOLD to helping the kiddos who need it most.

Dairy Queen states that, "To date, more than $135 million has been raised through donations from DQ Fans and franchisees, all of which stays local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care."

I have worked with Children's Miracle Network in the past, they are an amazing organization of caring people who do anything they can to make it easier on families who have kiddos in one of their hospitals, and provide the best medical care possible from the tiniest babies, to teenagers and beyond. You can bet I'm swinging by a DQ today to grab my fav cookie dough Blizzard NOM NOM NOM
