There's a beautiful little 4 year old girl in Michigan named Maya Tisdale who has cerebral palsy. Earlier this week, her family posted a video of her walking for the VERY FIRST TIME, all on her own! It's amazing what you can do when you are determined and surrounded by love and support. Her reaction to her first steps is PRICELESS, it makes me happy cry.
Follow Maya's Instagram for more feel-good posts and follow her journey so she knows we're all rooting for her!!
First Steps - 4 years, 10 months ❤️ ❤️❤️ I can’t even put into words how we are feeling. Nothing seems to fit the enormity of this moment for us. We are beyond proud of our Mighty Girl. 🔥 . . . . . #sdrchangeslives #beemighty #impossibleisnothing #firststeps #cerebralpalsy #imwalking #yes #amazing #dreamcometrue #onlythebeginning #wearesoproud #tearsofjoy #icandoit #iknowican #shebelieves #thisgirlisonfire
This little firecracker 💥 😍 #4thofjuly #outfitonpoint . ..... I convinced her to use her canes outside for the first time. 💪 Walking in the grass is a challenge, but she was motivated to get to those flowers so she could pick some for me. 😍 It was also a sneaky mom trick to get her to use one hand and do some squats. 💪
