Local show to support Veterans with a cause

Looking for fun Saturday plans that also help support our Veterans?

A Combat Veteran of Afghanistan, David Serpa has put together an all veteran band "Prometheus and Momma Fancy with the Boot Band". David's purpose is to spread awareness about Post Traumatic growth.

He and the band are currently on the road playing their music and spreading their message - and they'll be in Placerville this Saturday July 7! It's called VETFest and the non-profit "Military Family Support Group". See more info on the show and RSVP on Facebook by clicking here.

"Prometheus and Momma Fancy with the Boot Band" is a blend of many types of music, so I'm willing to bet just about everyone will enjoy them! Check out their single below (warning, not a censored edit)

David's mother said, "David lost two of his combat brothers. One during combat and one to suicide. David has made it his mission and purpose to lead vets to explore avenues that provide answers instead of suicide. David wants an alternative and to flip the perspective with providing hope and home instead of loss and devastation."

If you'd like to support David on his mission, follow the band on Facebook by clicking here

Our new single “Love to Give” is a fun song about dealing with PTSD, a broken VA system, and having love to give and wanting to give it away! #ptsd #anxiety #ptg #love #newmusic #veterans #usmc
