2020 hasn't been the best year. I wouldn't shame anyone who wants to start celebrating the holidays early. According to a new study, it might actually make you happier if you start decorating now!
New research found those who put their decorations up earlier enjoy the "festive time of the year" for a longer period of time and it DOES make them happier because of the feelings it invokes.
The holidays usually serve as a reminder of loved ones, which give us more positive feelings. At the same time, having your holiday decorations up can also indicate that you are a nicer person too.
That's enough evidence for me- my decorations are going up early this year!! How about you?
