Canadian songwriters have filed a lawsuit against Carrie Underwood over her song, "Something in the Water."

They said they sent the same song to Carrie's team and never heard anything back.

The songwriters are Georgia Lyons and Ronald McNeill, and they said they wrote the song in 2012.

Carrie responded and said she had never heard of their version of the song in her whole life.

“Neither Carrie nor any of her co-writers ever received or heard the plaintiffs’ song. We fully expect that Carrie, Brett and Chris will be vindicated in the courts."
